Trip Interruption Coverage

Claims

How to file a Claim

Visit a repair shop – Take your vehicle to an ASE-certified shop of your choice - view repair facility network.
Initial Call – Present your contract and let the service manager contact DriveSmart on (888) 980 0770. Their will also be a claims number listed on your DriveSmart ID Card.
Cost Allocation –Repairs only begin after authorization. DriveSmart pays the repair shop directly, you are only responsible for your deductible.
Pick up your repaired car – Once the work is done, collect your car and get back on the road.

Roadside Assistance

Roadside Assistance is included with every policy as well as a 14 months introductory maintenance package. Additional Roadside Plans available.

Mileage & Vehicle Age

DriveSmart provides coverage for vehicles of up to 20 years of age and up to 200,000 miles on the odometer.

The limit of liability describes the maximum payouts you can expect on a per case, lifetime of the contract or per category.

Pre-Exisiting Conditions

Similar to insurance, vehicle service contracts only cover future mechanical issues — not pre-existing conditions. Securing coverage before problems arise ensures you're protected when it matters most.
