Claims

How to file a Claim

Initial Call – Start your claim by calling customer service at (800)-349-3027 or show your ADAP card to your chosen ASE-Certified repair facility. It’s important to do this before any repairs begin.
Claims Description – Your chosen ASE-certified repair facility must contact the claims department to get pre-authorization before performing any work. This ensures the work is covered under your service contract.
Cost Allocation – Repairs only begin after authorization. American Dream pays the repair shop directly, you are only responsible for your deductible and non-covered costs.
Pick up your repaired car – Once the work is done, collect your car and get back on the road.

Mileage & Vehicle Age

American Dream provides coverage for vehicles of up to 12 years of age and 130,000 miles.

The limit of liability describes the maximum payouts you can expect on a per case, lifetime of the contract or per category.

Pre-Exisiting Conditions

Similar to insurance, vehicle service contracts only cover future mechanical issues — not pre-existing conditions. Securing coverage before problems arise ensures you're protected when it matters most.

You can cancel your plan at any time. If canceled within 30 days, you'll receive a full refund. After 30 days, refunds depend on your payment plan terms.
