How to file a Claim

Diagnosis - In the event of a breakdown, take your vehicle to any Tesla Service Center, or any Electrified Garage repair facility. Send the diagnostic inspection and repair estimate to Amber at claims@getamber.com.
‍Repair Approval: In most cases, they get back to you within 24 hours with a decision on what's covered and approval to proceed with the repair.
Reimbursement: Once the repair is completed, email them the final invoice. By default, they will attempt to pay the service provider so that they can minimize your out-of-pocket expenses but if they are not able to do so, they will reimburse you directly.
Pick up your repaired car - Once the work is done, collect your car and get back on the road.

Pre-Exisiting Conditions

Similar to insurance, vehicle service contracts only cover future mechanical issues — not pre-existing conditions. Securing coverage before problems arise ensures you're protected when it matters most.

Cancel or Transfer a Plan

Cancelations

Customers can cancel at any time. Simply email their concierge with the request to cancel. If you cancel within the first 30 days, you will receive the greater of the full amount minus the amount of claims paid, or $0. Otherwise, you will receive a pro-rated refund.

Do I have to pay any costs upfront?
