Claims

How to file a Claim

Initial Call - Start your claim by calling (855)-203-9876 before any repairs begin.
‍Claims Description – Take your vehicle to any ASE-certified repair shop and have them contact Aegis for authorization before any work is done.
Cost Allocation – Repairs only begin after authorization. Aegis pays the repair shop directly, you are only responsible for your deductible.
Keep your receipts - Save all maintenance, lodging, meal, and rental receipts as outlined in your contract for claim support.

Coverage Limits

Mileage & Vehicle Age

Aegis provides coverage for vehicles of up to 250,000 miles on the odometer.

The limit of liability describes the maximum payouts you can expect on a per case, lifetime of the contract or per category.

Pre-Exisiting Conditions

Similar to insurance, vehicle service contracts only cover future mechanical issues — not pre-existing conditions. Securing coverage before problems arise ensures you're protected when it matters most.

Cancel or Transfer a Plan

Cancelations

You will receive a full refund of the contract purchase price if you cancel within 30 days of purchasing the contract. After 30 days refunds are pro-rated and based on time and mileage not used, as well as the cancellation fee which is generally $75 but may differ depending on the state.

Transfer a Plan

Yes, with a small fee which is generally $75 but may differ depending on the state. Aegis must be notified of the transfer within 30 days from the date of sale to the new owner. Transfer acceptance must be confirmed by Aegis before the new owner is effectivley covered.
