How to file a Claim

  1. Repair Facility- Start your claim by calling taking your car to any ASE-Licensed repair facility.
  2. Initial Call - Give the repair facility your customer contract number and have them phone (800) 616-1215 if your contract starts with 911 or (800) 262-1386 if your contract starts with 111 to begin the process.
  3. Cost Allocation – Repairs only begin after authorization. Toco pays the repair shop directly, you are only responsible for your deductible.
  4. Pick up your repaired car - Once the work is done, collect your car and get back on the road.

Coverage Limits

Mileage & Vehicle Age

Toco provides coverage for vehicles of up to 250,000 miles on the odometer.

Limit of Liability

Coverage is generally limited to the lesser of (i) the vehicle's actual cash value immediately before the covered loss, or (ii) the maximum aggregate limit that goes alongside the coverage you selected.*

*Limit of Liability is indicative and may vary based on additional factors including but not limited to your car’s make, model, and year. Check your contract for your specific limit of liability terms.

Pre-Exisiting Conditions

Similar to insurance, vehicle service contracts only cover future mechanical issues — not pre-existing conditions. Securing coverage before problems arise ensures you're protected when it matters most.

Cancelations & Transfer a Plan

Cancelations

Pro-Rated refunds are based of time and mileage not used, as well as the state cancel fee.

Transfer a Plan

Yes, with a small fee depending on the state.

Cancelations

You will receive a full refund of the contract purchase price if you cancel within 30 days of purchasing the contract and no claims have been filed.

Transfer a Plan

Yes, with a small fee which is generally $50 but may differ depending on the state. Toco must be notified of the transfer within 30 days from the date of sale to the new owner. Transfer acceptance must be confirmed by Toco before the new owner is effectivley covered.
