Concierge Services

All VSC plans that are 12 months or more include access to a personal concierge service for the life of every contract.

Hybrid

Extends protection to hybrid vehicle components, including hybrid drive systems.

Commercial Use

Vehicles licensed or used for business purposes and registered to a business (e.g. fleet vehicles), including delivery services, rideshare or a contractor.

Trip Interruption Coverage

If your car is kept overnight due to a covered mechanical breakdown, and is more than 100 miles from home. DriveSmart will reimburse for lodging and meals.

Claims

How to file a Claim

Visit a repair shop – Take your vehicle to an ASE-certified shop of your choice - view repair facility network.
Initial Call – Present your contract and let the service manager contact DriveSmart on (888) 980 0770. Their will also be a claims number listed on your DriveSmart ID Card.
Cost Allocation –Repairs only begin after authorization. DriveSmart pays the repair shop directly, you are only responsible for your deductible.
Pick up your repaired car – Once the work is done, collect your car and get back on the road.

Coverage Limits

Mileage & Vehicle Age

DriveSmart provides coverage for vehicles of up to 20 years of age and up to 200,000 miles on the odometer.

Limit of Liability

Coverage is generally limited to the lesser of (i) the vehicle's actual cash value immediately before the covered loss, or (ii) the maximum aggregate limit that goes alongside the coverage you selected.*

Pre-Exisiting Conditions

Similar to insurance, vehicle service contracts only cover future mechanical issues — not pre-existing conditions. Securing coverage before problems arise ensures you're protected when it matters most.

Pro-Rated refunds are based of time and mileage not used, as well as the state cancel fee.
